Attendance

This conference is by invitation only for CEOs and executive-level staff. AHCA/NCAL reserves the right to grant final approval of all registrants.

Only fully registered attendees (members and non-members) are eligible for CE credits earned through education sessions.

Guest registration is for spouses and personal guests only, not for individuals working in the long term care profession. Companies and individuals who sell or market products and services to providers may attend only as event sponsors.

Please note: Provider attendees with competitive business interests with event sponsors must participate solely in their capacity as providers. Those unable to comply will not be invited to future conferences but are welcome to inquire about sponsorship opportunities through AHCA/NCAL Vendor Relations.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION PAYMENT
Payment for the conference and optional social activities is accepted by U.S. check, American Express, Visa, or MasterCard. Full payment is required to process your registration. If you register online or by fax, please do not mail a duplicate form to avoid double charges.
 
CONFIRMATIONS 
Registration confirmations will be e-mailed to you via e-mail within 3 days of receipt.
 
SUBSTITUTIONS 
Registration substitutions are accepted up to two days before the conference. Please email any changes or substitutions to meetings@ahca.org.
 
CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
Registration cancellations received on or before April 17, 2026 will be refunded minus a $55 administrative fee. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to meetings@ahca.org or faxed to (202) 898-6302. Refunds will be processed within 15 days following the end of the conference.

No refunds or credits will be issued after April 17, 2026, or for no-shows.

CONFERENCE ATTIRE
The average high temperature for May is 82°F, with a low of 67°F. Business-casual attire is suitable for all meetings, sessions, and receptions. Please remember to bring a sweater or jacket for air-conditioned rooms and cool evenings. Resort wear is appropriate for all social activities.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS AND DIETARY NEEDS
Vegan and gluten-free options are available at every meal. If you have additional dietary needs, please note them when completing your registration.

RELIGIOUS ACCOMMODATIONS
Kosher meals will be available. Please be sure to indicate your dietary preference when you register. A dedicated prayer space will also be available throughout the conference.

Book Early — Space Is Limited
A special group rate of $529 per night (plus taxes, single or double occupancy) is available through Friday, April 3, 2026. Rooms will not be held beyond this date, and late requests are subject to availability at the hotel's prevailing rate. To reserve, call The Cloister at Sea Island at 1-800-732-4752 and reference the American Health Care Association. A first-night deposit or major credit card is required to guarantee your reservation.

HOTEL RESERVATION & CANCELLATIONS

A one-night deposit (room and tax) will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking. Cancellations must be made at least 3 days prior to arrival to avoid a non-refundable charge equal to one night's room rate.

GETTING THERE

The Cloister is accessible from three airports:
  • Brunswick Golden Isles (BQK) - 15 miles. (Note: this is a regional airport served only by Delta; taxi and ride-share are limited.)
  • Jacksonville International (JAX) - 69 miles
  • Savannah/Hilton Head (SAV) - 82 miles
Ground transportation from all airports is available via taxi, ride-share, and sedan service. Executive car service can be arranged through Sea Island Transportation at 912-638-5126.

The Cloister at Sea Island is located near three airports. Brunswick Golden Isles BQK (15 miles), Savannah/Hilton Head SAV (82 miles), and Jacksonville International JAX (69 miles). Ground transportation from all airports to The Cloister at Sea Island is available via taxi, ride-share, and sedan service. Executive car service can be arranged through Sea Island Transportation at 912-638-5126. Please note: Brunswick Golden Isles is a small, regional airport. Delta Airlines is the only airline to use this airport. Taxi and ride-share are limited.

Sea Island Explorer Yacht Cruise: Step aboard a 71-foot, multi-level yacht for a leisurely cruise through Sea Island's stunning waterways. Take in the views from the open-air deck or relax in the enclosed cabin as you glide past marshlands and barrier islands. A wonderful way to unwind on Wednesday afternoon, with lunch and refreshments included.

Coastal Wildlife Bike Tour: Hop on a bike and explore Sea Island with a local naturalist as your guide. Pickleball Experience: Grab a paddle and discover why pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. ​With health and safety remaining a priority for our attendees, we ask that the following be observed:
