Working with Congress Post Election Day

Advocacy; AHCA/NCAL Updates

Elections are right around the corner and things are tightening up, much more than was ever anticipated a year ago. There will be many new members of Congress this election cycle as some incumbents are retiring and others are facing stiff challenges. Regardless of who wins, there will be plenty of new faces to bring for tours to AHCA/NCAL facilities in 2023. With the minimum staffing rule expected to come out in early spring, it is crucial to get as many members of Congress in our facilities to educate them about the essential quality care we provide to our residents and the daily challenges we face.

It is crucial that members of Congress need to hear from facilities, their constituents. AHCA/NCAL will be running important grassroots campaigns soon, and members are the key to a successful effort. Members are encouraged to sign up to become an advocate and receive AHCA/NCAL’s Action Alerts by clicking here. This will keep members informed on actions the association will be undertaking during these important grassroots campaigns.

If you have additional questions on how to get involved or how to help, please contact AHCA/NCAL’s Government Relations team.
