The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Health Safety Network (NHSN) has announced resources for reporting the annual healthcare personnel (HCP) influenza vaccine summary for the 2024–2025 influenza season. These include several resources and upcoming webinars.
Certified nursing homes are required under the Skilled Nursing Facility Quality Reporting Program (SNF QRP) to report an annual HCP influenza vaccination summary through NHSN by May 15, 2025, for the 2024–2025 influenza season. Failure to report this data on time will result in a 2% reduction in a facility’s Medicare reimbursement for an entire year, beginning 10/1/2025.
