September was a huge month for AHCA/NCAL’s engagement in advocacy. Future Leaders and our Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) Scholars hit the Hill strong, with over 50 meetings with members of Congress. In addition to those meetings, AHCA/NCAL member fly-ins in September added 25 more Hill meetings with key legislators.
With three months left in 2024, there is still an opportunity to get involved in advocacy. Congress is on recess from September 26 through November 11. This is a great time to invite your member of Congress to tour your facility or community if you haven’t already. It is also a good time to schedule an in-person district meeting at their office.
