As our nation's population ages, the need for quality long term care continues to grow. The 21st Century Long-Term Care Caucus, co-chaired by Representatives Bryan Steil (R-1-WI) and Ann Kuster (D-2-NH), is a newly created group that seeks to find bipartisan solutions to the issues facing the long term care sector.

By the year 2050, close to 20 percent of the US population will be 65 or older, compared to 15 percent today. As the number of elderly Americans continues to rise, experts are concerned about what this will mean for the workplace, economy, healthcare, and senior living.

This new caucus is committed to finding bipartisan solutions and will serve as a platform for lawmakers to come together, share ideas, and find common ground on critical issues such as access to quality care, workforce development, and regulatory reform.
