Is your long term and post-acute care center providing quality care and improving the lives of residents? The National Quality Award Program encourages you to continue your commitment to quality by taking the next step in your journey with the Silver Award level. 

The Silver Award helps applicants build upon their Bronze foundation for continued quality improvement, which is further developed at the Gold Award level. Here’s how you can prepare for a successful start with the Silver Award: 

Essential Resources for Silver Applicants: 

  • Comprehensive Silver Application Packet: Review this packet, as it contains program policies, key information on completing your application, and the criteria questions with notes. 
  • Month-to-Month Roadmap: Navigate the Silver application process effectively with this detailed guide and suggested timeline. 
  • Kick-Off Webinar Recording: Gain insights and guidance from Quality Award staff to kickstart your application. 
  • Silver Criteria Series: Deepen your understanding of the Silver criteria through educational videos that step through each section of the application. 
  • Silver Submission Template: Record and build your application in this template, which outlines the Silver criteria codes. 

The 2025 Intent to Apply process is now open, and Silver applicants are encouraged to submit their Intent to Apply before the deadline on Thursday, November 14, 2024, to gain access to exclusive resources and receive a discounted application fee.
