Nina has dedicated 21 years to long term care. She has held the role of Clinical Coordinator for the past 8 years, and previously was a Licensed Practical Nurse starting in 2001. She has been a dedicated employee throughout her employment working many different shifts to assist and fill various roles. Nina was in charge of wound care for many years before accepting a position as clinical coordinator. Her oversight in wound care and healing of difficult wounds drew the attention of a company, which now uses her success stories as a model in their educational training.
Nina has completed training as a Train the Trainer for teaching nurse aide training courses. She also assisted a Health Education Company in training nurse aide candidates in other facilities throughout Kentucky. Nina has spent many nights at her facility to assure continuity of care to residents and worked many weeks to cover a schedule with few days off when it was necessary. Nina is a true Champion of long term care.
