Advocacy Efforts and Upcoming Member Fly-In

Advocacy

As the 119th Congress settles in and prepares for the year ahead, AHCA/NCAL is advancing its advocacy efforts through our DC Fly-In Days. With 75 new members of Congress and many new key committee members,  this presents a great opportunity to introduce policymakers to our long term care priorities.

Congress continues to deliberate on reconciliation measures, and the minimum staffing mandate continues to be a part of the discussion. AHCA/NCAL is closely monitoring these developments to ensure a successful outcome.

In February, several AHCA/NCAL members are scheduled to visit Washington, D.C., to engage with their members of Congress on key long term care issues. Those interested in participating in a DC Fly-In Day are encouraged to make arrangements now. The AHCA/NCAL team is available to assist in coordinating your visits and ensuring productive engagements.

For more information or to schedule your participation, please contact Matt Smyth or Heather Posthumus.
