On September 10, AHCA/NCAL submitted comments to CMS regarding the CY 2025 Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) payment rule. Residents in AHCA/NCAL member communities often require health services covered by the various beneficiary access, coverage, and payment provisions impacted by this proposed rule under Medicare Part B PFS payment policies.
Overall, the Association provided comments on 26 different policy topics within the following broad categories, either supporting the proposals or suggesting alternative approaches:
- Payment Rate Update
- Telehealth Policies
- Outpatient Therapy Policies
- Electronic Prescribing
- Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP)
- Other Policies, including Portable X-ray, Clinical Labs, Dental Services, Hepatitis B Vaccine, and Claim Overpayment Provisions
