The 2025-2026 election cycle has officially opened for AHCA/NCAL members in good standing interested in running for the AHCA Board of Governors and the NCAL Board of Directors. The AHCA elections are for three officer positions (Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary/Treasurer). Additionally, AHCA will elect one Independent Owner Representative, one Regional Multifacility Representative and three At-large Representatives. The NCAL elections are for three officer positions (Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary/Treasurer) and seven At-large Representatives. AHCA/NCAL members interested in running for AHCA or NCAL Board positions may obtain the necessary candidacy materials online. Applicants must complete and electronically submit by close of business on May 2, 2025. AHCA candidates will submit completed materials by sending an e-mail to Christy Herle and NCAL candidates will submit completed materials by sending an e-mail to Katherine Preede.
The AHCA/NCAL elections will take place during the second Council of States meeting at Delivering Solutions 25, the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo, October 19 - 22 in Las Vegas, NV. Once the application phase has ended, the AHCA/NCAL Credentialing Committee will conduct a certification process for each candidate.
