SNF QRP Provider Threshold Report May Show Incorrect Data

Regulations; CMS

The Internet Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (iQIES) reported an issue with the data reported on the SNF Provider Threshold Report. This report allows providers to monitor their compliance status of the required data submission for the SNF Quality Reporting Program (QRP).

At this time, the report has not yet been updated to align with the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 data submission requirements, which may result in the number and percentage of MDS 3.0 Assessments submitted incompliance to be lower than expected.

According to  iQIES, updates to the report are currently underway, and CMS expects to release the updated report soon. Once the report has been updated, the assessments with Target Dates (i.e., Assessment Reference Dates, or ARDs) in Calendar Year 2024 will automatically be recalculated and the results will be reflected in the updated report.

A follow-up message will be posted on the iQIES Known Issues web page once the updated report is available. Currently, no additional work is required by the providers.

Questions about this notice, or the iQIES SNF QRP Provider Threshold Report may be sent to regulatory@ahca.org.
