The Nursing Workforce Diversity (NWD) Program aims to increase nursing education opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, including racial and ethnic minorities underrepresented among registered nurses. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will award approximately $22.2 million to up to 40 grantees over a period of four years through this funding opportunity.
