Final Days to Submit Comments on Proposed Minimum Staffing Rule

Advocacy; CMS; Workforce

We are in the final days of the formal comment period for the CMS Proposed Rule for Minimum Staffing. Your voice needs to be heard! No one knows better how this unfunded mandate will impact skilled nursing facilities across the country than those working day in and day out in the facilities. CMS, Congress and leaders everywhere need to hear from Administrators, DONs, RNs, LPN/LVNs, activities and administrative staff, and caregivers across the country on the impacts of this rule.

To date, AHCA/NCAL members have submitted 14,000 comments to CMS. And there’s still time to submit your comments!

The comment period ends next Tuesday, November 6. Submitting a comment is easy. Comments can be submitted on AHCA/NCAL’s Action Center. They can also be submitted directly to the Regulations.gov website. Details on what to submit with your comment is on the Action Center page.
