AHCA/NCAL set an exciting goal this year of 150 facility and community tours, with 25 of those tours happening in assisted living communities. AHCA/NCAL members rallied around these goals, and once again, ran right past them! With two months still left in the year, tours are still being scheduled.
And the work continues. With a new Congress being sworn in on January 3, there will be opportunities to get new members of Congress in a facility or community for the first time. We also want to continue to build relationships and engage with incumbent members of Congress by inviting them, as well.
Facility and community tours are one of our greatest advocacy tools. They are a great opportunity to showcase the excellent quality of care we provide and the unique elements of each facility/community.
